I was doing that same dance before I wrote this...Not really...Just thought i'd blog about the last movie i watched... me and the roomie set out to Kona after work for dinner and a movie...We try to go at least once a month, or whenever we feel something's theater-worthy...Otherwise it hits the Netflix list...But i digress. We stopped into Quinn's for fish n chips and a couple beers. Chill lil dive bar...Good fried food.
Then we headed over to Makalapua shopping center (if you want to call kmart, movies, and macy's a center) to kill a half hour in kmart before the show. So, after 20 minutes of debating over which men's shampoo he should get, and which starch is best for my work shirts, we walked next door. And Damn if it wasn't drizzling...Rain and my hair are not friends...They are arch enemies...Again, i digress...Such is the life of an ADD blogger, i guess.
So, long story short...Movie was good. Not as good as Fargo, but quirky and fun. All of the actors n actresses played up to their parts and i left thoroughly entertained...especially by how secretive George Clooney was with his "Top Secret Project." That and Brad Pitt's whole character...Chad...
I do forewarn, you'll either like it or hate it...It's not an incredible film, but it's not terrible either...A couple of people i talked to, loved it or hated n fell asleep...To each his or her own...Just thought i'd let ya know...Let me know what you think if you see it...

(OTHERS BE WARNED. DON'T READ COMMENT IF YOU DIDN'T SEE MOVIE)
i have to say that burn after reading was not my fav movie by the coen bros but it was good. i loved chad. my dad was like, brad pitt wasted his time doing this part. but i said, that brad pitt probably read the script and was like, cool, i get to get shot in the head. what i found intresting was how most of the main characters were sleeping around, how they met people on the internet and looked for peeps in the park. i was just in washington this summer and i felt like if i lived there it would probably be easy to feel like your being watched. it's funny how the lady wins in the end and how adamant she was to get her surgeries that she went to the russian embassy. overall, the coen brothers are always good at painting the picture of the most idiotic bad guys. the only two likable characters get oft. i know you saw fargo, but did you see, the big lebowski ,or ,no country for old men? very good flicks. later dudes.
